How To Believe In Yourself and Your Ideas

believe in yourself

Let me ask you a question… and be honest with yourself…

Do you truly believe in yourself? Do you believe you have value to share? Do you believe you can figure out how to use all the online tools to deliver something to people you’ll call customers?

Do you think your ideas are worthy? Do you think you are good enough?

Do you think that you are experienced enough/pretty enough/the right age/etc. to impact people?

Do you think you can stick to a schedule or a plan? Are you confident you can deliver this week’s newsletter?

How do you react or respond when your “plan” goes off the rails? When you can’t do something on your own?

If you want to know why asking these questions is important to your next launch, listen today.

ALL OF THESE questions lead you to the level of belief you have in yourself.

When you look at successful launches, businesses, your favorite entrepreneur, someone in your industry you respect…you might wonder, how they create all the amazing content, how they attract their audience…

Well, there’s something you won’t see on the outside.

And it's this: Belief.

Not just in themselves. But the words that come out of their mouths, published on their sites, in videos promoting their business. The products they create. Their team. Their customers and clients.

This weekend – I spent intense hours with a group of entrepreneurs…and the question came up over and over again – how do you gather the most amazing people around you. How do you build the community that really impacts people, where people walk away so CHANGED?

Great question, I thought every single time someone asked.

At some point after everyone left to go home…I realized it was because of my belief and how easy it would be to get the right people to show up.

In this week’s episode we talk about:

  • Why belief is critical even when you’re first starting out so you can handle the myriad of stuff you’ll face just setting up your business!
  • How to kickstart and build your belief muscle so that you’re actually preparing yourself to be a stronger leader and better business owner.
  • The process I learned from my first business mentor that still helps me to “believe” again.
  • Why even small decisions and actions will help you build belief.

Exactly what I needed to hear today. I spent time today watching Oprah and Arianna Huffington videos and reading articles about self-doubt and confidence. Arianna says it’s time to evict “The Obnoxious Roommate in your Head”.

I have no problem encouraging, inspiring and equipping my clients when it comes to marketing their business but when it comes to my own, as bigger ideas come I find myself hesitating. I have to talk her off the ledge and like you said, take one action. Thanks for sharing.
