Celebrate Your Wins to Boost Your Productivity + Gain Momentum
When you’re feeling like a failure or that you just aren’t reaching your goals fast enough, the best way to gain some momentum, re-ignite your spark, get back in motion…is to CELEBRATE.
What?
How to celebrate even when you feel like a failure
I’ll admit it’s not easy to celebrate when you feel like you haven’t reached your destination. It’s easy to lose excitement and drive for that place you so desperately want to be in life.
You may even think you haven’t done anything worthy of praise.
Here’s what I highly recommend you do right now.
Taking a few minutes to acknowledge and celebrate the actions you have taken and the improvements you have made or simply noticing when you complete something — will give you a bundle of immediate gifts:
- you’ll get a burst of energy to move closer to your bigger goals
- you’ll regain faith in yourself and realize you are capable
- you’ll become more rooted in the present and be more effective in everything you do
- you’ll likely reach that big goal ahead of schedule (and right on time!)

Remember: don’t save the big party for when you reach that nirvana – that big goal – pat yourself on the back for your achievements along the way.

I love this post, Anne!
One of my fundamental beliefs about living a great life is not living for the pay off, it’s living for the now! I practice living fully engaged in today, being grateful and celebrating what I have today.
Today I am celebrating:
~Moving my blog from WordPress.com to WordPress.org & launching a re-design earlier this year
~Being asked to be a guest speaker at a professional association meeting in 2012
~Completed informational interviews with 10 people in my company to build relationships and learn more about my company
Thanks for the inspiration!

You inspired me so I made a video response 🙂 Thanks for the reminder to stop and congratulate myself..it seems I did accomplish a HUGE goal but as you know one goal leads to a new goal so sometimes I forget to celebrate! Thanks Anne! xoxo

I’m so excited to hear you’re doing the program live at your community center! That’s a great idea – GREAT! AND those pics were amazing to say the least. Made me want to find a photographer up here and do some sassy shots. Love you. Anne
What wonderful wins for you Anne! I have been in a stuck period for about a month feeling like uh ok, what’s next. But I have to realize everything that has happened this year! I quit my boring 9-5, started my coaching business, landed 6 clients, launched a digital product and get to stay home with my beautiful smart baby girl every day! Major win! Thanks for the reminder.
Erin! I’m still kind of in shock by how one day I saw what you cooked up on your site–I wanna be a shine girl! You rock…and I’m so glad that our paths continue to cross?
How old is your daughter? Mine’s 2 month’s shy of 4 years old!!!!! Loving what you are doing – I want to be a Shine Lady too!
I know, isn’t it amazing! I remember thinking how bad it sucked that I wouldn’t be working with you and the LKR team, but months later, look! Hey if you want to be a Shine Lady, you are on board! Seriously, I need two more ladies for February- April! Not sure what your email is, but you have mine from this comment.
Zoe will be 2 in March, time flies by so fast! I LOVE what you are doing! Keep up all the hard work and I look forward to working + connecting with you more.
This was awesome and inspiring! I often overlook my wins. But here are my top 3 for this year, not in any particular order.
1. I started my own business.
2. I built my own website…it stinks, needs lots of work, but I built it by myself.
3. One of the things I’m proudest of, I delivered our first son (but 3rd child) epidural free. All 9lbs, 4oz of him. 🙂
Amanda,
So many amazing wins! And good job delivering your soon without that damn epidural…BIG BOY! Good job mommy!
What’s your website???
My website is http://www.helpinahurryll.com
And thank you!!! Yeah he was a big boy, lol. His sister was bigger though…my middle child was 9lbs 8.5oz, and oh yes I had an epidural with her, roflol.
