VFX Production & Consulting

VFX Production & Consulting

Experienced VFX production support, wherever you need it.

I work with VFX studios, producers, directors, and post-production teams to plan, bid, manage, and deliver visual effects work.

My experience spans feature films, episodic television, and commercials, working across the creative and production sides of VFX. I understand both what it takes to make great work and the production realities behind getting it done.

Whether you need an experienced producer to step into an active project, an experienced VFX perspective on the client side, or strategic support for your VFX studio, I can meet you where the project is and help determine what it needs next.

How I Can Help

VFX Production

Senior production support from bid through final delivery.

Need an experienced producer who can step in and get moving quickly?

I provide freelance VFX production support for studios and VFX vendors, from initial breakdown and bidding through scheduling, production, client reviews, delivery, and everything that happens in between.

I'm comfortable joining an established team, taking ownership of a project, or adding senior production capacity when things get particularly busy.

My production experience includes script and shot breakdowns, bidding and assumptions, schedules and resource planning, artist and supervisor coordination, client communication, reviews, delivery, and troubleshooting the inevitable challenges that come up along the way.

I've spent a significant part of my VFX career bidding work and understand the balance between building a realistic production plan and putting together a competitive proposal.

VFX Consulting & Advisory

Experienced VFX guidance on the client side.

Sometimes the people making the project need an experienced VFX person on their side of the table.

I work with producers, directors, post-production teams, and other creative partners who need help navigating the VFX process — whether that's figuring out what a project requires, identifying potential vendors, evaluating bids, planning the work, or helping manage communication and production through delivery.

Different VFX companies have different strengths. I can help assess what a project actually needs and connect the work with the people and companies best equipped to do it.

This can be a focused consultation at the beginning of a project or ongoing support as the work moves through production.

VFX Studio Partnerships

Strategic production and business support for VFX companies.

I work with VFX companies that need experienced support beyond the day-to-day production of a single project.

That might include strengthening a bidding process, pursuing the right projects, developing production and client relationships, supporting pitches, or providing an experienced production perspective as you approach a new opportunity or market.

My background combines hands-on VFX production with client relationships, project planning, operations, bidding, and business development, so I understand both the work itself and the business behind bringing that work into a studio.

For companies looking to expand their presence or support projects in Los Angeles, I can also help assess local production needs and put the appropriate resources in place — whether that involves production support, VFX supervision, previs, compositing, QC, short-term outsourcing, or other project-specific needs.

Experience

I've worked in visual effects across feature films, episodic television, and commercials, collaborating with artists, supervisors, production teams, clients, and studios to move complex creative work from bid through final delivery.

My experience includes VFX production and project management, bidding and breakdowns, scheduling and resource planning, client communication, artist and supervisor coordination, vendor relationships, production troubleshooting, reviews and delivery, workflow and operations, and business development.
